Gray Size
Found a small dark gray snake in my pool drain. About the size of a pencil.?
We also found a larger, dark gray snake about a foot long that was already dead near the pool drainage area. I didn't see the larger one and it was hard to tell if there were any markings on the small one. Any ideas as to what kind of snake this would be. I will add more info tonight when I can talk to my husband and son.
Well, from what you've said, I think it might be a northern or southern black racer, but I can't tell unless I have detailed markings info. You could check it here:
